Hello again, we are Ed and Mary Ann Grazier, returning to the Appalachian Region N Staff.  It is our privilege to have been chosen and to serve you as the Region N Member Enhancement Coordinators.  Region N has a long standing reputation of being a strong participant in all Membership Enhancement activities and we look forward to making positive contributions in making the program even more viable and fun for the membership of the Region.

We are both from Edwardsville, Illinois.  You might say we were the proverbial high school sweethearts,  dating throughout high school and married in June of 1963, the day after Mary Ann graduated.  Ed served 28 years in the United States Air Force, retiring as a Chief Master Sergeant, with assignments at Minot AFB, ND; Malmstrom AFB, MT; Ellsworth AFB, SD; Chanute AFB, IL, Joliet AAP, IL; Shaw AFB, SC; Tuy Hoa and Pleiku AFBs in South Viet Nam; and traveling as a recruiting management instructor throughout the upper Midwest.  Mary Ann spent her time in the Air Force too, serving to keep the home fires burning and raising their children, while Ed traveled quite extensively. 

We now reside in Smyrna, TN, where we own and operate an automotive advertising business.  We have four children, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, all living in the middle Tennessee area.

We joined GWRRA and Tennessee Chapter “Y” (Heart of Tennessee Wings) in May of 2005, and have served our Chapter in the positions of Newsletter Editor, Member Enhancement Coordinators, Chapter Couple of the Year, Assistant Chapter Director and Chapter Director.  It was our pleasure to serve both the Tennessee District and Region N during the 2007 through 2008 period as District and Region Couple of the Year.  It was our distinctive honor to be Chapter Directors of Tennessee Chapter Y, when it was selected as Tennessee and Region N Chapter of the Year; and, first runner-up in the 2008 GWRRA National Chapter of the Year Program.  We have both attained Level 4 and are members of the Hall of Honor.  Ed is a certified LTD Leadership Training Instructor, Parking Lot Facilitator, Riders Education Seminar Presenter and Trike Rider Course Instructor.

We own a black 2004 Goldwing, with a Champion Trike Conversion Kit, and a black 2007 two-wheeler Goldwing.  We’ve traveled over 55,000 miles, in 18 states, by bike since joining the GWRRA.

Ed enjoys (of course) motorcycle riding, hunting, fishing and woodworking.  Mary Ann enjoys (of course) motorcycle riding, reading a good book and spending time with their grandchildren.  We’ve immensely enjoyed meeting people from all walks of life and from all around the country.  We look forward to meeting and making more friends, but most of all to working with the MECs to bolster the Membership Enhancement Program throughout Region N.  We firmly believe in the T-E-A-M concept and know that working together is the key to the continued growth and success of our association.
