Hello Region N!

Kathy and I are the new Region N Directors and we couldn’t be happier with our appointment! We are stepping into the shoes of Mike and Angie Mitchell; shoes that may be difficult to fill, but we’re going to try anyway! We want to continue the successes that Region N has experienced over the last 12 years but we’re going to need help doing it. Our staff members are being selected and everyone should be in place by the end of March.

Kathy and I live in eastern Tennessee, just a couple of minutes north of Pigeon Forge. We come from similar GWRRA backgrounds. We’ve both been Chapter Directors and both selected as CD’s of the Year in Tennessee and North Carolina. Kathy, and her late husband Lanny, were the Chapter Couple of the Year for TN-G2 and I was the inaugural Chapter Director for NC-E2 which was also the first Chapter of the Year in Region N.

Both of us feel very close to the membership in this Region. We are concerned about the general membership’s concerns; having fun, riding safely, meeting new people and enjoying that common thread between us all…2 wheels (or 3!) Because of our desire to see the membership grow in Region N, we want all members to know when any member feels they’ve exhausted the resources looking for an answer to their question; we’ll do what we can to get a satisfactory answer. And if we don’t know the answer, we’ll go look for it and then we all can learn from it.

You can contact us anytime via email, hard mail, fax or telephone. Our contact information is:

Of course, like most Wingers, we work during the day and may have to get back-to-you when we get home. Remember, the first person you contact for problem-solving is the Chapter Director, then the Assistant District Director, then the District Director and then us. Use this “chain of command” and we believe you’ll get the answers you deserve! Communication is the key to opening a lot of locked doors and none of us can work alone in this Association. Remember this GWRRA acronym: TEAM

Together Everyone Accomplishes More! l

We’ll see ‘ya around the curve!
